Found KI4TZ and myself in Lexington, NC, where we finally were able to finish the installation for
AA4VV. Things expanded a bit beyond the original estimate–to become a truly turnkey job. Did
everything but dig the base and anchors. Rain slowed or hampered us a few days. It’s finally done and the overall level of performance is good, although the tribander acts oddly on 10M. The VSWR is a constant
3:1 across the whole band.
Next stop? Florida, with four client jobs.
