Late yesterday afternoon, went to storage site to load trailer w/some AB-1678, which KI4M had purchased a year ago, to deliver to Shane up in Morganton, NC. Found trailer with a flat, so stuck a shaky, shabby spare on & hoped for the best on the three hour trip. Shane seemed very pleased with the tower, which he will use to replace his AB-621. Mostly a VHF guy, with some 75M AM work. Enjoyed our brief chat. Headed home & relieved to arrive with no tire trouble!
Still no word from four pending NC/SC clients wanting tower work, which we could have accommodated easily THIS WEEK, but will now have to wait until the end of September.
