So it was, with some trepidation, I headed to W3LPL for the SSB portion of CQWW. Doing 20M once again, but with limited resources–meaning we’d be up against K3LR et al with mostly me in the chair, as opposed to a 3-op group up in W PA. Naturally, they beat us. But then, they usually do that in October. CW next month is a much different affair.
Conditions were pretty punk, compared to last year’s effort, when we had 25M. Just a shade over 9M this year! But I had fun, considering I don’t have a station of my own. And it’s always nice to tune across the band & hear some of my client’s stations.
