Arrived in Sherman, Texas, this afternoon. W2GD arrives (via the more sophisticated airline method; I drove…) tomorrow afternoon. We’re here this week to take down & dismantle the K5MR station. Eventually, everything will move up to Virginia, where I’ll be installing most of it for WK3W, at his Lake Anna QTH.
With eight towers, this will be a hectic week, I’m sure. There’s a lot to do. Luckily, the weather (at least according to those wonderful prognosticators called “local weather forecasters”) should be just about perfect tower climbing weather.
