Of course, I’m referring to the end of the year–nothing more dire or dramatic, like the end of the world or some such. Although perhaps it might “feel” like that, considering it’s December, and it was 72-degrees here in Charlotte today.
I took advantage of this unusual weather to run up to K2LS’s and swap out his lightning-damaged Prosistel rotator. Larry has an AN Wireless tower, and I have not climbed one of those in a while. I’m sure some muscles will be protesting tomorrow. But everything worked out in only a couple hours aloft, and his XR-5 is once again turning toward the DX.
The forecast is for a serious decline of not only the local temperatures, but overall weather conditions. Real winter may be here by the end of the week.
