The forecasters were right: they predicted four inches of snow, and that’s what we got. Big, white, puffy flakes begain drifting downward around 10-11PM, and we awoke this morning to find everything covered–literally every branch, leaf, whatever surface, etc. Of course, the TV news folks are calling for the worst (and maybe they’re right, NC drivers are NOT prepared to drive in such conditions), as well as saying how beautiful everything is, while predicting more snow later this evening.
Me, I’m already on record for saying I hate snow. And it remains to be seen exactly how this will wreck work plans for the upcoming week.
